Ideye, Enyeama, Ambrose all smile in Europe

                                                                           
ENGLAND
Brown Ideye scored his fourth goal of the season to earns West Brom a 1-0 win over Stoke City at the Hawthorns - their fourth successive home win this season.
The 26 year old who has weighed in seven goals in all competition headed home a Craig Gardner's cross in the 19th minute to earn the Baggies their sixth win in their last eight games at the home.


His compatriot Victor Anichebe meanwhile failed to make the match-day 18 after failing to recover from a groin injury while Victor Moses played for 54 minutes as Stoke four game winning streak ended
Nigerian midfielder Sone Aluko was an unused substitute for Hull in their 0-0 draw against Leicester City.

In the championship, duo of Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Hope Akpan were both on from start to finish for Reading who lost 4-1 away to Watford with Odion Ighalo missing his third consecutive game. Yakubu has one goal in six games to his credit while Akpan has made 17 appearances in the Championship.
The travails of Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo continued as he was not included in the matchday 18 in Middlesbrough's 4-1 win against Ipswich. He has missed Boro’s last three games in the Championship.
Ex Nigerian international Shola Ameobi was an unused substitute in Crystal Palace's 3-1 home win over QPR. The 33 year old who made a January switch to the club has made three appearances.

SCOTLAND
Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose was on from start to finish for Celtic who clinched the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 win over Dundee United. The triumph was Ambrose fourth since he joined the Hoops in 2012.

 FRANCE
Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama kept his 13th clean sheet of the season while in goal for Lille who defeated Rennes 3-0 at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium. Enyeama has conceded 24 goals in 29 Ligue 1 games this season. Recall that he conceded a total of 26 goals last season.
SPAIN
Super Eagles duo Ramon Azeez and Ike Uche were both missing in action when their respective teams played out a goalless draw at the Mediterráneo stadium. Azeez who has played 12 games in all competition last played for Almeria in January which they lost 2-1 to Getafe.
Flying Eagles forward Success Isaac was not listed for Granada who lost 3-1 to Rayo Vallecano. The former Flying Eagles forward has scored once in 16 La Liga games.

RUSSIA
Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa played 90 minutes for CSKA in his second start in the Russian league this year but was caged as the Army men cruised to a 4- 0 home win over Mordovia Saransk on Saturday. He however provided an assist for Kirill Nababkin to score the fourth goal.

TURKEY
Emmanuel Emenike’s goal drought extended to four games in Fenerbache 2-1 loss to Genclerbirligi. The Nigerian forward who has scored four goals in 22 Super Lig games played the entire duration of the game last scored against in the Yellow Canaries’ 5-0 mauling of Gaziantepspor in February.
Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona was handed a cameo appearance in Rizespor's 2-1 win over Sivasspor who paraded John Utaka for all 90 minutes. Oboabona has one goal in 14 games so far while Utaka has scored two goals in 15 games this season.
GERMANY
Nigerian forward Anthony Ujah fired blanks in Cologne's 0-0 draw away to Borussia Dortmund at the Signal-Iduna-Park. Ujah has scored eight Bundesliga goals this season for FC Cologne.
GREECE
Former junior international Abduljeleel Ajagun scored in the 40th minute to help Panathinaikos secure a 2-0 against Ergotelis. Ajagun who played 90 minutes, has now scored four goals in 20 appearances for Panathinaikos. His Nigerian counterpart, Michael Olaitan was a 67 minutes entrant for Bruno Halkiadakis.
