Moses scores dramatic winner for Stoke

Nigeria winger, Victor Moses, was the hero for Stoke City in the club’s 2-1 win over Stoke City at Villa Park as the Barclays English Premier League entered match day 26.

Moses netted a 90th minute penalty as the Potters came back from a goal down to defeat the Villans on Saturday.

Moses was cynically fouled by Villa’s Dutch defender, Ron Vlaar and the 22-year-old Nigerian picked up the ball and decided to take responsibility.

He showed nerves of steel to calmly send his penalty into the bottom left hand corner of Brad Guzan’s net, sending the American the wrong way in the process.

The goal, which was Moses’ second in the league this season was his second in almost four months.

It also represents the first time in three seasons that Moses will be scoring more than one league goal in a single season.

Saturday’s win takes Stoke up to 10th in the Premier League standings with 36 points from 26 matches.

BAD BELLY: Ighalo form troubles Watford skipper

Angry skipper,Troy
WATFORD FC skipper Troy Deeney seem to be having sleepless nights over the form of Nigerian teammate Odion Ighalo. The Hornets captain who had been a super regular over the past two seasons, has found game time hard to come by after only appearing five times this term.

Deeney admitted: "Obviously I am not going to be happy sitting on the bench because I am not that kind of person but everyone that came into the team did their job and added something to the game, which moving forward will only help because then you can't have people sulking - if that was to happen I mean - or questioning why they are not playing.
