Flying Eagles held by Ghana

The Flying Eagles of Niger gave up their lead twice to settle for a 2-2 draw in an international friendly against the Ghana U20 team, the Black Satellites on Monday in Accra.
The Coach Manu Garba tutored side who so far have been unbeaten in their build-up games ahead of the Africa Youth Championships billed for Senegal next month drew the first blood in Monday’s game as highly rated Musa Yahaya got the opener in the 22nd minute.

The hosts rallied back and secured an equaliser in the 35th minute before Chidera Eze fired the Flying Eagles back in front with his 40th minute strike.
Aware of the rivalry that brew between the two countries, the  Black Satellites threw in all they have for the second half and their efforts was crowned when they got a goal and thus tied the game at 2-2.
The two teams will have a go at themselves again on Wednesday in the second of the two-legged friendly between the two West African neighbors.
