Unbelievable stats about Victor Moses

Nigerian star Victor Moses
boost one of the most interesting and fascinating stats in the Barclays Premier League.

The 24-year-old has managed only 23 BPL appearances for the Blues and made 19, 13 of which were from the bench, during a season-long loan at Liverpool last season.

On loan at Stoke City, however, Moses is starting to make his mark, and, in the last few weeks, has become an attractive proposition for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers looking for an in-form midfielder at a budget-friendly price.

After a spell out of the team through injury, Moses has started each of the last five gameweeks, from which Stoke have taken a healthy 10-point haul.

The Nigeria winger's FPL tally from the past five matches is a modest 17 points, although 10 came in last week's 2-1 victory at Aston Villa, courtesy of a converted penalty and three bonus points.

Crucially, the underlying statistics suggest that Moses is a player in form and high on confidence.
Since his return to the teamsheet in Gameweek 22, he isranked fifth amongst the midfielders for touches in the final third (163). Only the considerably more expensive
Eden Hazard, Angel Di Maria, David Silva and Christian
Eriksen saw more of the ball in attacking areas.

His confidence is highlighted by the fact that only Hazard has made more successful dribbles: Moses has tormented defences, completing 18 of 42 attempted dribbles since his return.

In addition, with 11 chances Moses created for team-mates in this spell, only three other midfielders did more: Hazard, Eriksen and Mousa Dembele of Tottenham Hotspur.

With 11 goal attempts in this five gameweek spell, plus the indication that he has been assigned spot-kick duties, Moses can also promise goals.

Moses will be a key man to the Potters' bid to build on their mid-table status over the next month. While he has struggled to live up to his potential to this point, the signs
are that he is beginning to repay the faith shown by Hughes.
