Ikhana spits fire at LMC!!! see why

Enyimba coach Kadiri Ikhana
Someone isn't happy with the break announced by the League Management Company and that person is non other than Coach of Enyimba football club of Aba Kadiri Ikhana.

Ikhana blasted the League organizers for enforcing another break in a bid to check and inspect club facilities to be sure they are up to standard.

In a statement released by LMC chairman Shehu Dikko it reads: "You may wish to recall that we started the league with blanket provisional waiver to the clubs to allow them comply with all registration requirements before Match Day 9 when a review will be conducted by the LMC.

The break period is a time to revisit club stadium facilities to remedy observed defects as the clubs have so far operated with provisional certificates". He said.

"It's not good for our league , you can't just keep going on break like this, this break will affect our teams negatively and will cause unwanted setback" He said.

Ikhana's Enyimba is gradually getting back to form with two victories in a row, one away to Dolphins and one at home to El-Kanemi warriors, so one can understand his frustration.

For our league to one day become the best we crave for we have to emulate the best, and you don't suspend a league that's already behind schedule, midway to carry out inspection.
