Hand over: Nigeria Premier League to go on break

#teamA9F can report that the Glo Premier League will proceed on a break after the conclusion of match day 10 matches on Wednesday.

This is the second time the league will go on a break after the first break was observed due to the general elections.
As a result, all Week 11 matches earlier slated for Sunday, May 24 will be rescheduled.

"Teams will proceed on break due to the inauguration of the new government in the country and it will afford the League Management Company a chance to enforce minimum requirements for registration," said a source close to the LMC.
The LMC will formally inform clubs about the new development today and announce a date for the resumption of action.

Sunshine Stars lead the 20-team log as teams prepare for Wednesday's match day 10 matches.
The newly promoted duo of Gabros International and Wikki Tourists are also on 17 points but Sunshine lead with superior goals aggregate of plus six.
