Sink Ivory Coast 9-1 to come third
The Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria overcame their shocking semi-final lost to Senegal to beat the Ivory Coast in the third place play-off. The game was fast and exciting as Nigeria raced out to the lead and did not let up.
Nigeria were rampaging all through the game as the side wasted no time in making a feast out of their opponents.
Unlike the Eagles, the Elephants were emotionally drained from their heartbreaking penalty loss on Saturday to Madagascar.
Goals from Abu, Ibenegbu, Emeka, Lokosa and Olawale gave Nigeria an edge over their West-African neighbor.
