Broke his personal record, equaled his club goal record- The story of Batholomew Ogbeche

For a player who has never hit double figure since he turned professional in 2001, this must be a season to remember.

With 13 league goals thus far, Nigeria star to the 2002 World Cup, Batholomew Ogbeche has surpassed his best ever goal return. Meaning this is the first time the forward has scored over 9 goals in a single season.

Also, the Ex-PSG man etched his name into his club, SC Cambuur folklore after scoring his 15th goal in all competitions as his club drew 1-1 with Excelsior on Friday evening in the Dutch Eredevisie.

The player has now equaled the clubs goal scoring record held by a certain Jack de Gier, nicknamed The Vulture.

And with four matches left before the end of the regular season, one can bet that Ogbeche will smash that tally at the end of this campaign.

The closest the player came to scoring 10 goals was at Spanish side Cadiz in the 2009-2010 season when he notched 9 goals for the side.

Ogbeche joined SC Cambuur as a free agent in 2014, the club must be counting their blessings at this point and the move, a career changer for the player.

2001–2005 Paris Saint-Germain - 6 goals
2004 Bastia (loan)- 2 goals
2005 Metz (loan)- 1 goal
2005–2006 Al-Jazira- 5 goals
