TRANSFER GIST: Latest On Mikel, Ike Uche, Ighalo

Check out which Nigerian player is making the headlines in the transfer market:

WATFORD striker Odion Ighalo is likely to remain with the Hornets with strike partner and club captain, Troy Deeney increasingly linked to Newcastle. The duo notched 20 and 21 goals respectively, and it is believed the club won't allow two of their most priced assets leave.

VILLARREAL striker Ike Uche could be the first African to play for Mexican side, Tigres UANL, after the Mexican club announced he underwent medicals yesterday. Uche, who still have two more years left on his Villlarreal contract, will join Montreal based side who have won both he league and cup thrice.

CHELSEA midfielder JOHN Obi Mikel has returned to England after travelling to Dubai to discuss personal terms about his move to Al Ain. The player is back at Stamford Bridge to discuss the offer with Chelsea after agreeing personal terms with the Arabian side who also has fellow African, Asamoah Gyan on their payroll.

" Mikel has agreed personal terms with Al Ain this past week and has returned to England to discuss the offer with Chelsea." Mikel's rep, Babawo Mohammed said.

Just few months ago, Emmanuel Emenike was linked to several top clubs in Europe, with Chelsea and Tottenham leading the charge but the Nigerian could be forced out of Turkey by club, Fenerbahce after having a torrid season. The yellow canaries look likely to offload the 28 year old to Qatar.

ENYIMBA and Flying Eagles star, Kingsley Sokari has demanded more cash from Esperance after the Tunisian side agreed personal terms with his club.

"Sokari wants more money from Esperance and he and his agent may well stall unless they get their way." a source said.
