Nigerian Bigwigs in Europe: Find out who had more impact in the 2014/2015 season.

The football season is gradually winding-up all over Europe, with teams celebrating trophies won, while others, sobbing over a woeful campaign.

It was a memorable season for most Nigerians as they led their respective clubs to success, in contrast, others will have nothing to reminisce about due to an unproductive season.

All9jafootball evaluates and chew-over the performances of our foreign exports in the 2014/2015 football season across Europe.

TOPS:

1. Odion Ighalo:

A player who at one point in 2015 out-scored Messi, Suarez and Neymar, and was also the highest scorer across all English leagues, Ighalo's 20 goals helped push his club, Watford, to second place finish in the Championship, thus, securing promotion to the English Premier League.

The former Granada man is Africa's top Marksman in English football for the 2014/2015. His form has seen him earn a return to the Nigeria national team.

2. Bathlomew Ogbeche

A player who has never made double figures since he turned professional over 10 years ago, Ogbeche will reflect on the season and merry . He broke both his personal and club goal record after scoring 13 goals this term.

3. Moses Simon

At just 19, Simon has become one of the most sort after teen in world football. The Flying Eagle scored 7 times in 17 games to lead his club, Gent, to the Belgian title.

He narrowly missed out on the Ebony black award for the best black player in Belgium but was deservedly included in the team of the season.

4. Nosa Igiebor

After enduring a below-par season with Real Betis which saw the Beticos relegated to the segunda division coupled with his continuous snub from the national team, Nosa needed a career-tonic.

The 24-year old made the switch to Israeli side Maccabi Tel aviv, having represented rivals, Hopoel Tel aviv earlier in his career.

He led 'the Yellows' as they are fondly called to the league and cup double notching 3 goals in the process.

Other Nigerians worth mentioning include:
Anthony Ujah, Victor Moses, John Ogu, Dominic Iorfa, Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa
