Nigeria international Osaze Odemwingie was back in action for Stoke City after he recovered
from a knee ligament injury that kept him out for eight months.
The former Lille striker saw 10 minutes of action as he replaced Jonathan Walters in the 80th
minute on Saturday as Stoke City drew 1-1 at home to Sunderland.
Osaze took to twitter to express his joy at finally returning to action and was immediately yawning for victory.
He said "Big thanks for such a warm reception Potters! Should have won today with so many chances. @Charlie26Adam thank you for another belter!!"
The 33-year-old striker has played three games in the league this season for ‘The Potters’.
