Nigeria’s under-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, will start their campaign at the 2015 African U-17 Championship against hosts Niger Republic in the opening match at the Gen. Seyni Kountche Stadium, Niamey on sunday, 15 february.
The Nigerian contigent which travelled by road from Sokoto arrived Niamey on thursday for the competition.
For Nigeria’s other group matches, they will face Guinea on Feb. 18, before taking on Zambia in the last Group A match on Feb. 21.

The other pairing in Group B has Cote D’Ivoire, South Africa, Mali and Cameroon. The eight team tournament is billed to hold from Feb. 15 to March 1. Stade Municipal also in capital Niamey, will host the other group games.
The semi-finalists will represent the continent at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
