Mfon Udoh sent home by Keshi: see why

Nigeria Premier League goal king Mfon Udoh has been sent home from the super eagles camp that is presently preparing for the African Nations cup qualifiers against Chad by head coach Stephen Keshi.

Mfon Udoh missed Enyimba's match day 10 game against El-Kanemi Warriors  due to illness and it is this very illness that has result in  him being sent home by Keshi.

The record goal scorer in the NPFL looked fully recovered when he arrived camp with the rest of the invitees but a relapse ensured he was sent home by Keshi.

Keshi however assured fans that the striker was free to return to the team whenever he was fully recovered from this illness.

“Mfon Udoh is an important member of this team and he will be back once he has fully recovered, “He reported to camp so that the Super Eagles medics can assess and also advise him.

They have asked him to take enough rest and avoid any strenuous activity so that his recovery can be faster and more comprehensive. Once he fully recovers, he will always get his chance with the team,” Keshi told NFF official site.

We wish Mfon quick recovery.
