Why always me: Mark Hughes Describes Victor Moses' Latest injury as 'strange'

Nigeria international Victor Moses has returned to the treatment table after he suffered an injury which can't be explained yet.

He sustained the injury on Saturday while in action for Stoke City in a 1-1 draw with Westham and his manager Mark Hughes said he can't say the nature of injury as where it occurred was strange and he may be out for some weeks.

Hughes explained the unusual nature of Moses' injury after the game, but was hopeful that the knock won't prove to be too serious.

"It looks like Victor has pulled his hamstring," Hughes said. "It looks like it is in a strange position as it seems to be right behind his knee, which isn't the normal position you usually get hamstring injuries.

"We will get it checked, it may be something that isn't to do with the hamstring so it could be that we get good news but we can't be sure yet.
"If it is a hamstring, then it could be that we lose him for a few weeks."

Hughes was also forced to withdraw defender Marc Wilson during the second-half, after the Irishman failed to run off an injury suffered. before the break.

"Marc got a bang right on his hip," he added. "Fair play to him he tried to go out for the second half and see if he could make it work," added Hughes.

"Sadly he couldn't loosen it off and had to be forced off unfortunately."
