Nigeria and Liverpool star, Asisat Oshoala has been nominated for BBC Women's Footballer of the Year.
BBC World Service announced the shortlist for the inaugural BBC Women's Footballer of the Year accolade and the poll is now open.
The five shortlisted contenders are Veronica Boquete (Spain and FFC Frankfurt), Nadine Kessler (Germany and VFL Wolfsburg), Kim Little (Scotland and Seattle Reign FC), Marta (Brazil and FC Rosengard) and Oshoala (Nigeria and Liverpool).
Fans can vote online and using their mobile phone or handheld device. Voting is also available by SMS. Click here to vote
The poll will close on Monday May 11 at 10am BST and the winner of the BBC Women's Footballer of the Year 2015 will be revealed on BBC World Service on Tuesday May 26.
