Watford striker Odion Ighalo is the hottest property in English football since the turn of the year and is driving his side towards the Premier League.
The Nigerian is the most prolific striker across all the football leagues in England in 2015. The Watford star has scored a total of 15 goals in 14 appearances this year and is the top scorer in all four professional divisions in England in 2015.
.
The former Granda ace scored his 19th goal of the season monday afternoon, in Watfords 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough, a win that takes the Hornets to the summit of the Championship.
It is also interesting to note that apart from the 2-1 loss to Huddersfield in january 2015, Watford has won in all occasions the Nigerian was on target.
What this means is that the Nigerian doesn't just score ordinary goals but crucial goals that spur his team to victory.
The 25-year old has poached more goals than premier league hot-shots Harry Keane(14), Diego Costa(6), Olivier Giroud(9), Sergio Aguero(3) and Alexis Sanchez(4) in 2015.
Ighalo netted just four goals up until December 28 but has really found a rich vein of form since then.
