While Nigerians treak for Buhari, Man walks from Turin to Berlin for Champions League final


The recent trend in our darling country, Nigeria, is people walking from one city to the other either because of the new government or due to their own selfish interest.
The most prominent was Suleiman Hashimu who walked from Lagos to Abuja.

"I made a promise because of the love I have for Mr president that if Buhari should win the 2015 elections, I will trek from Lagos to Abuja."  Hashimu said after covering about 700 kilometers in 18 days.

Nigeria ascend in latest FIFA Ranking


The Nigeria Super Eagles moved two places to occupy 43rd position in the world and 7th in Africa.  

The 2013 African champions has never been ranked outside the top 50 since january.

Two goals by Saviour Godwin in the opening five minutes of the second half helped Nigeria to a 4-0 win over North Korea in their Fifa Under-20 World Cup match at Stadium Taranaki in New Plymouth on Thursday.


Nigeria coach Manu Garba made a huge statement by dropping star trio, Man City's Kelechi Iheanacho, Tottenham's Musa Yahaya and Granada's Isaac Success.

BREAKING: FIFA president Sepp Blatter resigns


FIFA president, Sepp Blatter has said he will resign his position amidst allegations of corruption.

This won't take effect until new FIFA election, sometime between December 2015 and March 2016.

Blatter said " I don't know what, what they want from me. Its like the more money we come across, the more problems we see. "

Seven FIFA officials were arrested in Zurich hotel on wednesday......

Observations from Flying Eagles loss to Brazil


Brazil continued their dominance over Nigeria at the Cadre level after overcoming the Flying Eagles 4-2, in group E at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Newzealand.


Despite possessing one of the best squad at the showpiece, the Flying Eagles team failed to live up to th expectations of over 150 million Nigerians.

FIFA official site described the game as an entertaining one with everything: brilliant goals,
outrageous skill, flowing moves and, at the end, a horrible error.

So where did it go wrong for Manu Garba and his wards? Was it tactical, psychological or egotistical?
