Mikel wins English Premier League title with Chelsea
Super Eagles star John Obi Mikel starred for Chelsea as The Blues clinched the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon on the back of their 1 - 0 win against fellow Londoners Crystal Palace.
Needing to shore up his midfield after going 1 - 0 up, manager Jose Mourinho introduced Mikel at the start of the second half, replacing Juan Cuadrado with the Nigeria international.
The ex Lyn Oslo man has now won two premier league titles since his arrival in 2006.
The Nigerian was eligible for a Premier League medal, having played a total of 15 games in the top flight this season. The 28 year old was in action 23 times in all competitions for the Londoners this term.
In recent weeks, the 28 midfielder has been linked with possible moves to Southampton and Real Madrid.
