Nigerian Chelsea loanee performs woefully as Boro fans react on twitter

Derby County lost to Fulham on Saturday,
giving Middlesbrough the chance to take the
lead in the race for Premier League title.

Unfortunately, they also fluffed their lines.
Goals from Atde Nuhiu and Will Keane did the
trick for Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough,
as Boro's blip continues.

They have won just once in their last five
games, after winning their previous six.
The performance that got most criticism from
Boro fans was that of Chelsea loanee Kenneth
Omeruo .

The Nigeria international was with the club for
half of last season and was fantastic for Aitor
Karanka's men. With that in mind, Boro fans
were more than happy to see him return to
Teesside in the summer.

However, this season has been far less
impressive and Saturday was perhaps his
worst performance of the campaign yet.

He gave away the penalty and was a liability
throughout proceedings in Yorkshire. Then,
when subbed off in the 58th minute, he
stormed down the tunnel in a huff.

The Nigerian  once looked like one of the best
Prospects  to make it to Chelsea's first team, after starring
for Boro and his Nigerian national team.

Now he looks far from the standard required to
make the grade.

Here is some of the best reaction on Twitter to
his performance for Middlesbrough...
Omeruo has been so bad this
season, it's a shame bc he was
amazing last season

First half today Kalas different
class. Got Gibbo out of a couple
sticky situations. Omeruo was
awful & wasn't interested out on
the right

Who has disappointed you the
most this season? I would have to
say Adomah and Omeruo have
been woeful compared to last
season..

Well said Karanka. At least he was
man enough to admit he was
wrong. Still think Omeruo has not
played well this season.
