AYC 2015: Flying Eagles off to a flying start

Flying Eagles on Sunday thumped hosts Senegal 3-1 in its opening Africa Youth Championship
(AYC) played at the Stade Léopold
Sédar Senghor, Dakar on Sunday.

A brace from Taiwo Awoniyi in the opening 11 minutes of the match inspired the team to victory with Ifeanyi Mathew getting the third for the Nigerians and Sidy Sarr pulling a
goal for the hosts.

All the four goals were scored in the first half.
With this win, Flying Eagles tops Group A with three points plus two goals difference and will face Congo on Wednesday at the Stade Léopold
Sédar Senghor.
