Mikel impresses in Chelsea's FA cup triumph

Nigeria midfielder John Obi Mikel was at the heart of things as Chelsea FC cruised to the FA Cup fourth round. The Londoners saw off championship side Watford at Stamford Bridge.

The former Lyn Oslo man was in action for the entire duration of the game as goals from Willian, Ramires and Kourt Zouma gave Jose Mourinho's men a 3-0 victory.

Didier Drogba was stand-in captain as skipper John Terry along with other first team regulars Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard were given the day off.

John Obi Mikel was rated highly after the game as he provided the much needed shield for the defence and a platform for the team to attack.

It is the Nigerian first game in 2015 and 18th appearance of the campaign.
